Regular strips have visibly spaced LEDs. In a concealed installation, the distance from the illuminated surface and the diffuser can affect whether individual points are noticeable. Check the effect on your actual surface rather than choosing solely by LED count.
Compare available choices
Our regular families offer 60, 120 and 280 LEDs per metre, with 8 or 12 mm widths and 12 V or 24 V selections. The 280 family also lists RGB. The current regular-strip catalogue offers IP20; do not assume COB protection options apply to these products.
Plan the complete system
Confirm the strip, controller and power supply work together. RGB needs compatible colour control, while the white-light selections are separate choices. Count the total length and identify where each run will connect before ordering.
When to compare COB
If the strip itself or its reflection will be visible, compare a COB sample alongside regular strip lighting. Neither density nor strip type guarantees a particular light level; ask for confirmed output specifications if the project requires a measured brightness.
