COB strips create a continuous-looking line of light, unlike the visibly spaced emitters of regular strips. The final result still depends on the channel, diffuser and viewing distance. Test a sample in the intended position before committing to a full installation.
Compare the families
The catalogue includes 480, 528, 608 and 1600 LEDs per metre, plus Freecut 528 and 3-wire dual-colour 608 options. Density alone does not tell you brightness or efficiency. Compare the stated wattage, physical width and controls as well.
Make room for the strip
Available widths vary by family. The 1600 LED/m option is 30 mm wide and listed at 40 W/m, so it needs a different space and power budget from narrower strips. Measure the internal channel width, allowing for any protective covering and connectors.
Configure before ordering
Choose a family, white-light tone, width, voltage, protection and length. Prices are based on 5 m packs; wider options and protection can change the total. The separate power-supply calculation is a planning aid, and supplies are priced separately.
