LAKDLIGHTS / GUIDES

3000K vs 4000K Lighting

Understand warm and neutral white as reference points, then confirm the exact colour temperature of your chosen strip.

Compare colour, not brightness

3000K generally describes a warmer white appearance than 4000K. Kelvin describes colour temperature, not light output. Two lights with the same Kelvin value can still differ in brightness, colour rendering and how they look on your materials.

View it in your room

Compare samples beside the finishes and other lamps that will remain in the room. Warm-toned surfaces and daylight can change your impression. Choose based on the appearance you want rather than treating one temperature as universally correct for a room.

Check the actual product

Our LED-strip choices are labelled warm white, natural white and cool white. Exact Kelvin values are not yet confirmed for every strip family. Do not assume that a selected label guarantees 3000K or 4000K; request the supplied product’s specification before ordering.

Single tone or adjustable tones

The 3-wire dual-colour 608 family is listed with three white-light tones in one strip. Confirm the required controller and supported operation. Other white-light choices in the configurator should not be treated as adjustable colour-temperature products.
