LED Strip Lights for Wardrobes

Plan wardrobe lighting around shelf depth, glare, door movement and access to the power supply.

Measure each compartment

Measure the inside mounting space rather than the outside cabinet size. Allow room for the strip, profile and connectors. Vertical runs beside shelves may distribute light differently from a single strip above them; test where clothes will actually sit.

Keep the light comfortable

Check the strip from eye level with the door open. A diffuser and careful placement can help conceal the source, but the effect depends on the installation. Compare a COB sample with regular strip lighting before choosing.

Plan controls separately

If you want a door switch, motion sensor or dimmer, confirm compatibility with the selected voltage and load. Standalone sensors are not currently listed in our strip catalogue; do not assume a sensor is included with a strip purchase.

Leave space for maintenance

Identify a driver location that remains accessible and meets its ventilation requirements. Keep wiring clear of hinges and moving drawers. Confirm cut points before fitting; ordering 5 m does not mean every shelf must use a single unbroken run.
